Who we are

This website is run by Creative Edge Studios Inc., a Florida company owned by Kate DePalma and the maker of SoundQuest. Questions about this policy can go to kate@creativeedgejax.com.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

• Email list signup: your first name, email address, which best describes you (for example, parent or teacher), and your consent to receive emails.
• Emails you send us: your name, email address, and whatever you include in your message.

We don't ask for payment details, and this website isn't meant to collect information about children.

How we use it

• To send the emails you signed up for: SoundQuest playtest invitations, progress updates, and free adapted music lessons.
• To reply to your questions and requests about lessons, consulting, or SoundQuest.
• To understand who our audience is, so we can make more useful lessons and a better game.

Email and unsubscribing

We only send marketing emails to people who checked the box to receive them. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Your information is stored and our emails are sent through Wix, our website and email provider, which processes it on our behalf. We don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Children's privacy

This website is for parents, caregivers, teachers, and other adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, email kate@creativeedgejax.com and we'll delete it.

Cookies and similar technology

Wix may use cookies to run the site and measure traffic. Our signup form also stores an anonymous visitor key in your browser so the form can talk to Wix. It doesn't identify you. You can clear it, or turn off cookies, in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you're on our list or while we're working with you. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you by emailing kate@creativeedgejax.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
